OTHER ALTERNATIVES TO "TRADITIONAL" GOLF
There are over 100,000 golfers playing Natural Golf alone. Natural golf
(naturalgolf.com) has created a
number of spin off groups that are worthy of mention.
Jerry Heard, a former PGA touring pro, whose site is located at progolftour.com,
has written a booklet and made a tape about what he calls the Heard
Super Swing. His tape is important because it shows why this
alternative swing is superior to the "traditional" swing.
In his booklet, he talks about the frustrations of teaching the
"conventional" swing and how he can often get golfers hitting straight
shots in a half hours time. I believe this, of course, because I have
had the same experience.
Another swing called Big-Grip Golf, formed by Tom Sanders (who has an
excellent teaching reputation) who left Natural Golf over philosophical
differences, is also worthy of consideration. The advantage here is
that it is a much smaller company than Natural Golf and sometimes
